Alpine amp install

Well i thought i was going to be able to pick up my car today from the stereo installation shop. Unfortunately when i listened to the upgraded system i noticed a faint whine sound at low volumes with and without the engine on. so i'm leaving my car there for another day so that they can trouble shoot the problem. the way they mounted my two amps looks sick however and i can't wait to show you guys. the amps are not even visible when looking in the trunk whatsover. the Alpine Type S 6X9s crank too. so hopefully i will be able to pick up my car tomorrow without anymore drama. we'll see...

no the shop forgot to fix that problem too. hopefully tomorrow's efforts will do the trick. i almost feel bad for the shop because they are the ones losing money on all the hours of installation time they end up using on my car.

Just because they did not do it right the first time. Think about it this way. If they really knew what they were doing, they would of had it perfect the first time. Never feel bad about paying for a service and expecting it done right.

UPDATE!! Well i went to pick up my car today and was extremely nervous that i was going to find something wrong with the stereo install AGAIN. but to my surprise the thing sounds better than i had even hoped. just by replacing the stock amp with a high quality aftermarket one, the stock door speakers and tweeters actually sound like new speakers. i was blown away by how much of a difference an amp can make in the way a speaker sounds. plus with the addition of the Alpine type-S 6X9s in the rear my soundstage is now next to perfect in my opinion. tomorrow i will try to take pictures of the way the amps are installed which is one of my favorite parts. it was done very clean to say the least. so up to this point i've spent roughly $1500 on my sound system and feel that it was well worth it.

JiggaMan, I love your links. I clicked on the link and the page took a long time to load so I went for a coffee and came back and was pleased to see porn on my computer. My boss' wife saw it and just rolled her eyes! Gotta love the steel industry....
