alpine?

how are alpine head units? i heard they were the best is this true?

they aren't as flashy, aestetically, as others, but overall i would be willing to put my car on it that they are the best bang for the buck on the market.

The best? That is debatable. But, they do make really good head units. There Indash video is top notch as well.

I can't say that they are the best but I can say that they are my prefered headunit.

having sold and installed most major brands, I am hard pressed to find a better headunit than alpine when you are looking at features per dollar. maybe you could say eclipse, but i'm certainely not convinced that that is even that close. . .

I Find alpine decks to be the most flashiest decks around. Not a bad thing for some people though.

Alpine is hardly the best in general. Their CDA-7990 is one of the best deck in terms of quality and performance, but Sony, Pioneer, Eclipse, Nakamichi, Denon, etc all have their fair share of high quality, high-end decks.
