would u get better bass but not louder and how would u hook it up? good idea or no?

 

I honestly doubt the stock amp has the "oomph" to push an aftermarket sub efficiently. I heard someone say the bose system runs at 1 ohm .. could be wrong. but either way, an underpowered amp pushing a speaker expecting lots of power is only going to be asking for distortion.
