Aftermarket Head Unit Help

I just installed a Panasonic CQ-C7105U head unit in my 03 Acura CL. I had circuit city do the install and everything works fine except for one minor problem. When I turn on the accessory/ignition the radio powers up fine..but when i turn off the car the headunit stays powered on even though the key is out of the ignition. If I manually turn off the headunit after the keys are out of the ignition it turns off and will not power back up until i turn on the car again. Its not that big of a deal...but kind of a pain since I don't want to forget to turn it off and drain my battery...any ideas whats causing the problem.

Also the wiring harness is a Scosche wiring harness.

Thanks!

sounds like they mixed up the constant 12+V and the switched 12+V... so the HU doesn't receive a signal to turn off when you turn off your car...

does your radio memory settings hold after you turn your car off then back on again... i'm pretty sure that it wouldn't...
