So I have a Sony GT660UP head unit and this EQ that I got for free from a friend:


My question is how do I wire the EQ in? The head unit has three outputs; front, rear and sub (probably because the HU has a built in EQ). But the EQ only has one AUX input and one CD input. I would like to use the external EQ because the head unit EQ is shitty.

How do I connect the RCAs from the head unit to the EQ properly?

I'd say use the front output from the HU and be sure to turn off all eq provided by the HU so all frequencies are heard.
