aftermarket EQ with stock HU

aftermarket EQ with stock HU

If i put one in for the stock radio, I *must* by pass the stock EQ in the BLOSE radio and *must* use an aftermarket amplifier right/wrong ???

I had the same question:

The CL has no stock EQ, the TL does.

The only possible problem is if the voltage output of the EQ is too much for the stock amp. The headunit output is something like 250mV. If the EQ increases the output to the stock amp it could cause problems for the stock amp. A voltage gain might be an issue, it might not.

I have an audiocontrol 4.1 between the stock headunit and stock amp... for over a year now.

Sounds great and no problems whatsoever...

this is for an TL..not tls....i thought the two are the same..guess not. I shoudl ask this question on the TL forum then.
