I'm thinking about gettin a different HU but i really like the controls on the steering wheels and was wondering if they would still work with a different HU. Also please suggest any good HU's out there

to be able to re-use those button....get an aftermarket headunit that has remote control and add this...steering wheel remote control interface

Unfortunately that unit doesn't work in our cars. However, there are some HUs with hard wire connections for that type of thing...otherwise yes you will have to get a wireless adapter to make your steering wheel act like a remote control.

Well...it may work...for some reason I seem to remember there was a problem with ours...but maybe it does...
