Question Adding Sirius to Factory System

I am the proud new owner of a 2000 Acura TL! It has an incredible BOSE sound system, to which I am wanting to add Sirius satellite radio. I have Sirius in my older vehicle I drive, and I want to add a second receiver to my Acura. What have other TL owners done to install Sirius? Did you do it yourself, or hire it done? Where did you mount the antenna?

All comments and experiences would be very welcome!

Thanks,
CS

For the first time in my life I had Best buy do it. I got the stiletto and had it mounted to the right of the console. (not many passengers in my ride)..Antenna was mounted at the front top of the car..I go the hardwired FM modulator, damn near CD quality sound!

Good luck!

I'm not sure on the price of the stiletto, but Circuit City gave me a quote of $175 for installing the basic Sirius unit, the antenna, and the FM wired connection. I'll probably go that route in the very near future!

I have a Sirius ST2 in my '99 TL

I want to move it to the sunglass holder overhead. I also want to hard wire the audio into the back of my stock TL radio (where the 6 CD changer would plug in I guess).
1. Where do I find an adapter to let me plug in RCA type jacks for left and right stereo?
2. Where can I find a 10' or 12' stereo audio cable for the ST2?
3. Where do I find a 10' power cable? This one for my Whistler 1650 may work...

...I have to see if the ST2 uses the same 1.3mm plug. I plan on buying one of these cables and hard wireing my radar detector to the Cruise Control button like others here.

Thanks,
Jeff
