I'm installing new speakers (Infinity 6.5" 3-way in front and 5.25" 2-way in back), 10" Alumapro subwoofer and two PG amps. Just thought you guys might like to see the stock 6" Bose speakers next to my new ones. I had to make adapters to mount the Infinity speakers because the Bose speakers sit in a weird triangle-shaped plastic cup. The Bose in the pic is in the cup, it just hard to see. Had to also take into consideration the depth and made the adapters so that my new (deeper) speakers would not prevent the windows rolling down. Also ran much better 16AWG Stinger wires.
Infinity 5.25" rear spkr & Bose 6"

...just before I put the door panel back on
Thanks for noticing....

Lookin good.
My ZX400 Poenix Gold amp and Alumapro sub should arrive here tomorrow, its the same as you have I think, the BP-10? Will be installed by the weekend.
BTW, what kind of pedals are those? I want to get some new ones but I don't want to get tacky... those seem to look good.

Inspire wheel, 10" Alumapro sub, ZX400 Phoenix Gold amp, Python 1500 ESP alarm (remote start, sunroof, all windows up & down, prox, etc), burlwood dash kit and shift knob, factory spoiler.

Yes it was a pain getting the wiring thru the door boot. Just pop it off and use some silicone lube to feed wires thru.
I'm still using the stock headunit, but not the OEM amp (which only powers the subwoofer, BTW). I had to attach a line converter to the stock spkr wires to get RCA connections to my EQ and amp(s). But I'm thinking of getting a new h/u. This place by me might make a cool face plate cover for that double DIN opening. I'll see tomorrow.
They new spkrs sound fantastic!!! Powered by a Phoenix Gold ZX475ti (75 watts per spkr) Blows the 6" Boses away, even with the stock sub. But that will be disconnected when I get my Alpine Sub Processor Monday and connect my Alumapro!

The 6.5" Infinitys in front are 2.75" deep, so I had to make the front adapters 1.25" thick to maintain the 1.5" speaker depth so it would not interfere with the windows.
Wow only 1.5 mounting depth before hitting the windows. That is pretty small. I'll have to get out the jigsaw also if I go with B/A pro series I guess.

Looks good. I was thinking of a similar setup to go with my two perfects. Are the adaptors coated with anything? How much space does that leave between your speakers and the grill on the door panel?

The spkr grill inside the door panel has a plastic flange the butts up against the Bose spkrs. But I didn't want that to touch my new spkrs and make noise, so I took my Dremel and trimmed that useless plastic flange off...with no ill effects.
The OEM spkr adapters are not coated with anything and I made mine from MDF, plain and unfinished cuz no one will see them
