Does anyone know where I could get some 6 x 9 spacers to fit the rear deck? I'm trying to install some Infinity Kappa 6 x 9's, but they are so deep that the magnet hits the one bar used for the trunk spring mechanism. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions or has had the same problem.

Most 6x9's come with some spacers as part of the grille assembly.

All independent stereo shops have a box in the install bay with these kind of spacers and grilles for all sizes of speakers. They might go look through the box and sell you some various 6x9 rings for $5 if you talk nice to them.

 

Yeah, I pulled the grilles out and tried those, but they wouldn't fit. The lip on the factory nines are so thin its ridiculous, and unfortunately, the carpeting or whatever it is on the rear deck, is fit exactly to the size of the factory nines. I'll give the audio shops a try. THanks.
