3rd gen Ipod, DiCE, and the TSX...

I've been looking at getting the DiCE unit for my 08 non-navi TSX, but looking at their website it looks like the 3rd gen Ipod isn't supported. I'm pretty sure I've read people haven't had any problems using their 3rd gen...

Before I take the plunge and buy this, can anyone help clear this up for me? Can I still browse the ipod, select an album and play it with text displayed?

Thanks guys. (Oh, and if anyone has a link to a DIY tutorial for this with pictures, can you post a link?)

No 3rd Gen iPod. The older i-Honda-R4-Gen2 kit from DICE supported the 3rd gen iPods. However, the new Silverline i-Honda-R4 kit does not work with the older 3rd Gen iPod.

Time to upgrade son!

Sorry to drag this back to the top. So, I bought a 30GB Ipod Video on Craigslist, now it's time to look into the DICE unit. I tried looking for some place that described differences between the "older" i-Honda-R4-Gen2 and the Silverline but couldn't find any - the "old" one can be had for $129 off Amazon, and the new one's $159 direct from Dice. Is the new one worth the premium for an 08 non-navi?

(Also, any of you vendors selling these cheaper than DICE?)

now, I'd say go for the new unit from peripheral. better than all of the old Dice / USA SPEC ones it appears. full text & XM, a first.
