Well it uses the auxillary input so sound quality should be good.. As far as quality, durability and craftsmanship I have no idea..
You want us to guess about it?
I don't think I've read a thread on here about Axxxess.. I've never heard of them..

I've got the Axxess iPod adaptor from wire-tunes installed in my 03 cl and it works as advertised. At first I tried the dice adapator which did not work. It looks like there are new devices coming to the market which have not been fully tested. So any thing you buy may or may not work.

Do the steering wheel controls work properly and without any problems??

Yes, but the controls on the ipod are disabled by design. The folks that make the dice adaptor sent me an email and they are making some revisions to make there adaptor work on the Acura CL. There adaptor will have both the radio/steering wheel and ipod controls active. The Axxess sound quality has been/is as good as the cd. Also I was able to buy the Axxess from Circuit City, so you could buy, test it out and return if you don't like it without have to worry about shipping it back and forth.

Installed my Axxess that i got from Circuit city ($99). I get some weird skips/jump when FF songs. Like when i hit the button to play the next song, it plays like a 3 sec intro then starts over again ok. i tried swapping it out with another unit and it still does that. (Im thinking maybe its the way my mp3s were converted?) But besides that, the first one was ok - it found the playlists and played and switched over from CD/Radio/CD1 (ipod mode). When i put in the 2nd unit, it would get buggy like not switching over to another playlist and not forward search the next songs. So i guess this could be hit or miss too. just posting my experience.

Axxess in 03 CL
I put a wire tunes from circuit city in my CL about a month ago. the unit has worked pretty good. Never really used playlists until this point with over 3600 songs in my iPod it is difficult being so limited. The sound quality is definitly superior to most other solutions. Lived with a FM Transmitter in my previous car. The installation was fairly easy. Didn't need to remove the radio, took the right hand side of the center console and knee pads out and manuevered the plug into the back of the radio. The only real problem that I have run into is from time to time if I leave the pod connected the radio seems to freak out when I start the car. Disconnection of the iPod shutting the car off, and restarting the car seems to fix the problem. I don't typically leave the iPod connected tho. It has happened twice. I agree with the posting above about the quirck about repeating the begining of the song when fast forwarding or reversing through the selection. Overall quite pleased, I ran the cord under the driver seat, when not in use I push the cord under the seat. The iPod is set on the floor in a sock which is in a padded soft sided case, the cord simply connects to the iPod while it is in the case. I did see a very cool place to put the pod. I don't have one myself but if you go to [/URL]. As I said I cannot vouche for these things but kind of nice.

How does the Axxess adaptor work with the in-dash 6-disc changer (with say...an '01 CL-S)I understand how it would work with an external changer/input but this seems to complicate things...
