2001 Acura CL speaker replacement
2001 Acura CL speaker replacement
After looking at a thread for speaker replacements for TSX with leaving the stock amp intact it made me wonder if something like that could work for the CL. Has anyone changed speakers without changing the amp and had good results. In particular I want some better rear 6x9s for added bass without needing to add a sub. I was listening to my cousins Acura Legend and while it wasn't a back shaking thump the bass in his car was noticable better then mine. Are there any speakers I can use with the stock amp that would be better then the stock speakers. I would try the avincar but it appears he is away from speakers for the time being.
CL Speakers
I'm thinking of adding subs to my 03 CL-S. Is your's equipped with the BOSE system? Anyone know if adding an amp to the existing speaker's improves the BOSE sound at all, or if it would be better to replace the speakers? I have a 6 channel amp that I could use to power everything, but I like the factory setup and the steering wheel control's. Anyone want to put their

i just put subs on my CL. adding subs is a cheap way to add much needed low-end bass to your well sounding system. the bose speakers are pretty good for me except that it had little bass. i bought a amp and subs preloaded in a box. i had them install it taping into the rear spaekers. so now i get the same system with added bass. can be a easy DIY. btw, i added a switch to my remote line so that i could turn my subs off but still listen to the stereo for when your driving ppl around.
