2000 TL dash kit for headunit.

I really want to put in a new head unit to get MP3 CD play in my 2000 TL, but don't want to ruin the nice look of the dash. Any suggestions for how to get something to fit around the head unit. Do I need to make this myself?

I have done head units in other cars, and taken the front dash of in the acura to replace the blasted clock light, so I know my way around a little.

thanks.

www.sounddomain.com is offering free wiring harness, dash kit and pack of connectors if you buy certain headunits. i bought something from them and it's currently being shipped. i'm not sure what it looks like but it's made by scosche.

If you live in NJ just get it from StreetEffectz. I was just there 2 days ago to get an Alpine 7897 installed on the same model car and it looks great.

Pics?

Does anyone have pics of what their console/headunit looks like with a dash kit? I live in Atlanta now, but grew up in Middletown, NJ.

acurax2's pic of the metra kit.

1/2 din openings are different. i think the metra kit looks better because the openings line up. also, scosche does not appear to be din sized in width. oh well, mine was free!
