2000 TL CD player problem

My stock CD player works fine on store bought CD's, but when I play a CD that I have burned on my computer it takes the stereo 30 seconds to a minute to start and also between each track. The same CD's work fine in my 96 I30. This can't be normal can it??

I had this same problem. I came to the conclusion that it is the new blank cd-r's that copy at 40x and over. After 8 months of different kind of cd-r brands I said F$%^ and got a cd changer.

The odd thing is that the cd player in my I30 is also bose and is an older model.

Heck, I thought since it said bose on it that maybe Bose made it and not Clarion. Am gonna email Acura and Clarion next just to see what kind of reply I get.

Hello Ken,

Thank you for your inquiry regarding the Bose Music System in your Infiniti I30. I do not believe the manufacturer of the cd player, Clarion Corporation, recommends playing CD-R's or CD-RW's in the factory cd player.

You can contact Clarion Corporation directly at 1-800-347-8667 for information on playing these types of sources. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Thank you for choosing Bose Corporation.

I have an 03 TLS and burning CDs at 24x or higher is really the problem.....I used to burn CDs at this speed and the CD skips a lot......Now when i burn CDs at 12x I don't get any skipping at all
