grounding to the top of my trunk,
earlier i noticed that when i touched the ends of my RCA's (the 2 ends that go into the headunit) my subs hum.

also i switched rcas cuz i thought maybe that was the problem but nope :\

That’s your problem.

The trunk is bolted to the body; you need to ground it to clean metal that is spot wielded to the chassis.

Ok, but let me tell you that its not on the trunk lid if that matters.

Someone please reply with some good information.
Everytime I start my car up the subs slam. When I;m driving or idling they make noise, sometimes mocking the engine, other times just random high notes. I have run new RCA cables, and regrounded my wires. Both with no luck. This all started when I was going to hook up a new amp to them but the amp wouldnt work for some reason. I then hooked my amp back up and this problem started. Please someone help me?

The rmt for my subs is hooked to the acc wire b/c the guy at the audio store said that was better.
