3-way in a TSX?
3-way in a TSX?
Now that I've got your attention: you have dirty minds.
Has anyone seen a TSX with a 3-way setup (midbass, midrange, tweeter) installed? If so, was it with kicks or A-pillar install or dash pods? Thinking about trying this...
Any advice welcomed.

nice try but, we kinda figured were u were going with this since this is an a/v tread. I haven't seen a 3way setup in a tsx personally but, i seen it in other vehicles. there many combinations, u can do mid's and tweets in the kick panel and midbass in the doors. thats the best setup for staging if ur going that route.
Same. The TSX just doesn't lend itself to a 3-way setup naturally. Of course it could be done with some custom fab, but you'd likely want to put the woofer in the footwell, the mid in the door where the current woofer is, and move the tweet up to the a-pillar.
I thought about going with a 3-way. The woofer would fit fine in the passenger kick panel with some custom fiberglassing, but it would definitely be in the way on the driver's side. However, since we're able to fit 6.5" in the doors, I really don't think there's a tremendous need for a 3-way. My buddy with an old 3-series has a 3-way because he can only fit 4" on the doors. With the right 6.5"s you can get plenty of response across the spectrum
While not my cup o' tea of components.... I found something for you....
