1999 TL audio upgrades

Hey guys , I like good sound, and generally I have no problems upgrading my sound system. I usually start with crappy oem systems instead of this hose system. I know little to nothing about this system and I'm hesitant to tap into it and start modifying without really knowing what in doing. I'd like to add 2 subs to the trunk front facing into the back seats. Does anyone have any tips or tricks to working with this system? Thanks in advance.

Back seats? Your going to need alot of sound dampening and alot of time alignment. What's your budget?

I'm looking at adding 2 subs pointed forward behind the back seats in the trunk. I'm looking at spending 400 or less. But ultimately, I'd pay whatever to get a good sounding system.

IMO the whole audio system needs to be redone in your vehicle. This would include the outdated OEM radio that serves no real significant features that an aftermarket one couldn't suffice. Your OEM amp is prone to failure and will fail you if it hasn't already. Do yourself a favor and gut the vehicle and start new is what I say.. but I say that alot.
