'04 TSX System plans, Thanks elduderino (Street effectz chime in please)
Thanks to all the help from elduderino on the topic I have put together the following system. Any comments would be appreciated. I'd like to have Street Effectz do the install and purchase any necessary wiring from them. Maybe they can let me know how long this type of install will take on a Saturday.
JL Audio e6450 (6 channel x 45)
A/D/S 235 is (5 1/4" seperates)
MB Quart DKE 113 (5 1/4" coax for R doors)
MB Quart RCE 269 (6x9 woofers for R deck)
I guess I'll leave the tuning to the pros but I'd assume you high pass the F and R full ranges around 120hz and low pass the 6x9 woofers a bit higher, around 180 or 200 hz.
Thanks for the help, any comments are appreciated. The equipment total is right around $750 so this seems to be a quite cost effective way to go (not to mention stealth).

Nice list!
The DKE tweeter xovers don't have a level control as I recall, so you might have some trouble with the R highs being louder than they need to be. Might need a couple of layers of grille cloth and a rubber band : )
Actually, I would push those xover points DOWN. 75 Hz is my recommendation. Get some better midbass from the front. You can raise the 6x9 point a bit for more volume, to taste, but start with it at like 75-80. If you have problems at that point I suspect you're using your bass control too much.

As far as the rears go, using a 6 channel amp means I can set the level on them quite low as opposed to the fronts so I think it should be ok. If I'm not happy I can always switch them out for some mid-only speakers.
Thanks again.

Yes, if your system requires tone controls in use all the time, it just means you have the wrong system... : )
My concern was the volume of the tweeter in that R coax compared to the mid. If you're tall the tweeter on the Rt side Rear door has a good shot at your ear. Hence the polyester L pad : ) The upper-end MBQ have a seperate xover for the coax which allows adjustment... but I'm sure Ron can take care of that for ya! Let us know how it sounds!

Waiting for Street Effectz to chime in here and let me know on install.

Sorry I didn't catch this sooner - been crazy at the shop and haven't been on the forum much in the last few days. Anyway, how soon are you looking to do the installation? We can do it THIS coming Saturday if you are interested, April 2nd. It will take the better part of the day and we'll run the amp off the factory preouts, no line converters.
The JL and A/D/S prices I don't have here - but the Quarts I can do $225 for the RCE269's and $115 for the DKE-113's
Email me direct, streeteffectz@streeteffectz.com if you'd like to do the installation

yes, they do fit (i bought mine many moons ago per elduderino - and love it). tuned, they sound like a small sub.
i have some probs with tone controls because i listen to a variety of cds that also vary in recording quality and age. i range between +1 to -1 bass (usually +1), and usually +1 or +2 on the treble (rce 216's in front, tweets in dash)... i'll prob eventually get tweets moved from dash to the sails so that i can keep it at 0 or +1. my rce 269's are hard crossed at 80hz.
i'd love to get a frequency analysis some day to tune it better.

Dude, apparently you have decided to do your own work, but you seem spooked as all get out. Sure you want this task?
I get the feeling that you don't want to do it yourself, but feel like you should. The worst thing you could do is tear your car apart while being worried and negative mentally about it - stuff WILL go wrong if you're stressed. Trust me.
