I've searched TONS of basslink related threads and cant find the answer to my questions so here goes...

I have a Pioneer D3 in my 03CL-S and am adding an Infinity Basslink this weekend. Should I connect the Basslink via the RCA outs on the back of the D3 and go run it right into the Basslink RCAs? Will this allow me to control the gain from the headunit?

Or would I be better off tapping the Basslink into the rear speakers? If I do tap into the speakers where exactly should I do it? Before or after the stock amp?

I am trying to avoid installing the remote wire for the Basslink as I would like to control everything through the head unit.

you run RCA's from the sub out channel of your headunit to the basslink input. this will allow you to control the sub from your headunit.
