01 CLS Stereo help!

Hey all, i just did a search on this but what I came up with wasnt very helpful. Basically I hate the stock speakers and sound, I want something with good bass(no sub just speakers) and very clear sound. I have the NAVI system and 6 disc bose infront so Im not sure what options I have for speakers. I dont think its even possible to get a different head unit is it?

yes get a new head unit! get some nice high end speakers:
Focal, Hertz, MB Quart....
anything european made.
Get a nice clean 4 channel amp to run those speakers.(JL Audio 300/4)
If you wanna keep the factory stereo, get a Audiocontrol LC6 or a JL Audio Cleansweep to clean up and boost the factory signal.

So there are parts available for a new head unit even with the navi system? Also arent the BOSE speakers setup so that if you replace them you'll need to replace basically the whole system? And where/how would you instal a clean sweep or audio controll? thanks

The only thing with changing the deck is that you will lose voice guidance.

You do not need to change all the speakers, different vehicles have different bose systems. Some systems had built in amplifiers behind every single speaker, in those types of systems you would have to change out all your speakers. We have an external amplified in the rear, it can be integrated and mimic'd to work.

If you wanted to keep your stock head unit, and amplify all 4 speakers and change new speakers, you take the signal that the deck gives to all 4 speakers and run that into tha cleansweep then you revert that signal towards an amp.
