Post [TSX] - Keychain Remote Hack (can it work even if it's started)

I keep thinking of other projects while I am waiting for the final parts to come in on my touchscreen interface project, so since this one has been lingering on my mind for some time now, I figured I would throw it out here to you smart folks and see if anyone has gotten this to work in the past.

The title of the thread says it mostly but the idea is by setting up the buttons on the keychain remote to work even after the car has started, I should be able to use the unlock/trunk/lock buttons even after I have started the car. In case you're not familiar, I have a remote start kit installed that starts the car when you hit the lock button twice. Of course Acura's security disables the keychain from that point on because it thinks a key is in the ignition.

Does anyone know a way around this? Or better yet, I haven't seen anything about the key chain remote in the 06 TSX ETM. Does anyone know where I can find specs for it? Or is it in the ETM and if so, what is it labeled under?

Thanks in advance!
AC

Okay, this may or may not help. This info is for an '03 TL-S, the point here was to allow the remote start to be deactivated via the factory remote as well as role the windows up and down with the remote start activated.

First off find the keyless entry modual (on the TL it was located near the fuse box in the cabin.) Cut the ignition wire then make a relay which will interrupt that wire when remote started. Do the same to the yellow wire at the key cylinder (located on the green 4 pin harness)

It's been a while since we did this so i'm not positive about the details so be sure to use a meter before u cut anything.

-hope this helps-

Spelling is fine. I'm a programmer, its all spellLikThis(anyways);

I will look over that idea in the ETM now that I finally home. Thanks for the tip. I hope its the same idea for the 06 TSX.
