Yea, that is a must. I did that on mine. Sounds much better then FM modulator.

I have pics if you need to know how to do it. I took them when I did mine. you'll need the Soundgate adapter as well

I mounted mine in my glove box but the kit is used to mount it in the big dash pocket. Call dealer for part number.

No other parts are needed that i know of. I'll send you the pics in a few

The i-VES goes in the big dash pocket?

its a two piece setup, the dvd player itself is in the upper dash pocket and then screen mounts on the celing

How did the glovebox work out? Can you send me a pic? I already have something in the big pocket, and I would really like to keep it there if possible.

Trust me, use the pocket. It was a major bitch to get it to go into the glove box. Had to cut a lot of the back out of the box and both harnesses had to be modified to clear the heater box behind the glove box when you opened and closed it. I wouldn't do it again if I had to.
