So, I think having a theme for next months submission would be a great idea (thanks jjashaa and every one else who recommended). This thread is to help determine which COTM theme we are going to go with.

I dont want to do a model theme, mainly because we wont have many MDX or RDX or NSX or even RSX submissions, and the few that do submit will win cotm and may not deserve it (no offense)

So as was mentioned to me before, we can do something like :

1. color themes (wdp, cbp, nbp, kbp etc etc.) or even more basic (all white, all black, all red etc. etc.)
   
2. Best Stance
   
3. Best VIP
   
4. Best Track Ready
   
5. Best Engine Bay

Things like that. Anyway, if you guys have suggestions for themes post them here and lets decide a theme for December COTM.

It depends on if we limit the number of submissions or not. If the number of submissions becomes limited then i would say that a 3 month waiting period would be in effect. We also have to take into consideration that if we do themes (especially color themes) that members will not be eligible to compete if they dont meet the theme.

murky i think what you came up with seems pretty good. question is..can one person win more than one award? say..best track also has best engine bay, or best stance also wins best vip?

Any COTM winner is not eligible for the showcase far at least 12 months. So they wouldnt be able to participate if they wanted to submit in a different category.

 

I pmed everyone on my friends list on azine to remind them to vote.

 

i also recommend people having a showoff thread or a progress thread or both even helps.

oh! and we can do by regions.

Both current submissions (Klepto, and defconskylude) have been notified that they are not in compliance with the requirements for submissions. Because the nominated users did not nominate themselves they will be given 5 days from today to meet the requirements or the submissions will be deleted.

First two submissions were deleted. Klepto for not having a garage profile and the maximum_pan guy that never signed up on this forum. I can undelete the submissions if the members meet the requirements..... sorry guys.
