Please, no post reply notification. The last thing we need is 50 useless notifications per day.
no Bueno on the thanks button in ramblings. It was removed for a reason. Every thread that gets started will have it on then.

This is seriously a no-brainer. what this forum is being run by arbitrary preferences? this is an essential option. And give those who do not like it the option to turn it off.
But it cuts off many conversation when someone overlooks a reply and then the post count stops there.

Honestly, I have my settings set to automatically sub me to every thread I post in...
so when I hit sub'd posts and they are bold, I know there's a new reply. I also check in pretty often so there are seldom posts that get missed because I forget to check back.
The only ones I seem to miss are if someone posts as I'm posting and I only see what happens after that because my historical starting point is always my last post.

Maybe you need to go back to communism; where i'm from we prefer having options.
Nothing wrong with having the option, as vBulletin has it, and give users the option to turn that notification on/off, and to each their own after that.
