I stayed at the Embassy Suites downtown last time there. Free cooked breakfast in the morning. Free shuttle to 6th street. Right next to the bridge with all the bats.

Im in...especially since I Live here! BTW, I take my TSX and Ducati on 1431 all the time, it has some of the best elevation and twists around.
71 and 290 towards the hill country areas are okay, but are long and get boring with all the traffic right now. With Johnson City, Freddricksburg and all the other little towns haveing strolls and such, the traffic on these roads makes it hard to have much fun with more than a few cars (I just got back from driving it Sat.) 1431 links up with a few single lane low water crossings that make for great picture shots. The parking lot at barton creek overlooking the skyline makes for another spot (our ducati club took a great group shot there) 360 bridge makes for some good photo ops too...

Mark, I say that we close the poll early, and set the date as the 13th. This way, people have enough advance notice to plan accordingly.
Also, we should start to see who is going to need a place to stay-that way, we might be able to get a group rate.
