I'm hosting a meet with my other car club on Sunday, April 20th. Last year we had over 100 cars and invited some of the other local clubs... Although the majority of cars will be Z's and G35's, we definitely welcome our acurazine friends. The guys @ euroteknik will be joining us as well. Anyone from here in?



After a long (and sometimes annoying) winter, meet season is finally upon us! Come join us on Sunday, April 20, 2008 at Dave and Buster's in Addsion IL.

As always, there will be a pre-meet and cruise to Dave and Buster's starting at 11 AM.

Here's the details...

Pre-Meet - 11:30 AM
The office building parking lot acrossfrom Portillo's in Rolling Meadows.

1900 W. Golf Road
Rolling Meadows, IL 60008

(Corner of Golf Road & New Wilke Road, right next to Portillo’s)

*Note: Please refrain from opening your hoods at the pre-meet. Furthermore, no reckless behavior (burn-outs, etc). Thank you.

Cruise - 12pm
New Wilke Rd to Golf Rd (Right)

Golf Rd to West Frontage Rd (Left)

West Frontage Rd to 290 East

290 East to 355 South

355 South to Army Trail Road (Right on ATR)

Army Trail Road to Swift Road (Right)

Swift Road to Dave and Buster’s Entrance (Right)

*Two-way Radios are recommended, but not required.

*There will be several members in different parts of the group who know the route. If we get split up, don't worry, someone in your group will know where to go.

*This one is important: Reckless driving and/or excessive speeding is STRICTLY prohibited on the cruise. Also, if we see you doing burn-outs, drifting, or other asshatery, we will call the cops on you and ban you from the site.

thatz kinda early dont u think?...i would be down to head out there but i work Saturdayz and dont get out until 12 and it would take me about an hour to hour and a half considering traffic like last time...

since you work saturdays, it's perfect...the meet is on SUNDAY. btw... this is going to be a huge meet... we are expecting 100 cars...maybe more.

I wont, i just hope the shamble my car will be in wont make every one run. My trunk is half primered, the grill is sanded and ready to be repainted, the bumper needs to be painted.

Do i get to finally see your Z in person?

Im trying. I dont hanve any thing planned other than working on the car since the GF is gone so if i can get it put together enough to drive by sunday ill be there!

yep, that was us! And btw.... this meet is going to be SICK. My perdiction of about 100 cars is way underestimated based on what I'm seeing on the boards.... Also, forgot to mention that euroteknik will be @ the meet as well, but a bit later.... closer to 2pm. I will have to leave by 2, so hopefully I get to meet some of you guys beforehand.
