since taking this picture, i blacked out my window trim and i made my front plate perpendicular with the ground as opposed to slanted backward...
looking forward to another meet. maybe a drive too, and an actual photo shoot, as opposed to just a lineup.
installing my comptech icebox tomorrow, weather permitting

hmm I know there are more Oregonians than this from the last meet. Maybe we should start picking a tentative date for the meet to entice them. What about mid June - early July sometime???

of course!
i'm really anxious for them to come in. though i don't want to take a ride in minkl81's car with the tanabes. that way there's no chance of regretting not waiting for them, and jumping on the teins.

haha you should and regret not getting rare tanabes!! j/k..
i believe tein won't be that harsh compared to tanabes. but everyone says tein gives dramatic change in handling. never heard that for tanabes.
i'm thinking about trading in my car for new TL-S, but hesitating because its not fun to drive as TSX. its really fast though..

they have lots of stuff for TL too. intake/header/pulleys/coilovers/exhaust/etc...
my mind is settled now. not gonna trade in. i tried to convince myself that TL is much nicer than TSX but as I look more and more of TL pictures they look ugly

considering 07 TSX PWP/Ebony/Navi and start over with modding.

Tualatin, Or. Checking in.
Gonna be stationed at Ft. Lewis WA. But i plan on driving down to the PDX area most weekends. Im always willing to do a meet if im able to get to it.
Is there anything planned for this up comming summer?
I know me and two others are kicking around the idea of a night shoot at bridgeport village in tigard. if you dont know what it is, its a large outdoor mall with very good backdrops for a shoot. We are gonna try and see if we can drive in between the buildings after everything is closed and everyone is gone for a shoot.
Hopefully there isnt a shoot untill after i get my Tein SS installed, but if there is anything else where going down id love to make a apperence.
oh and of course...gotta whore out the car:

ride is nice. stiffer, but really only noticeable on really rough roads. on main thoroughfares i hardly notice a difference. haven't really had the chance to get to some twisties.
i went with a 1 finger gap all around. but i think the fronts look a little low for me, so i may raise it up a little before getting my alignment.
speaking of which, where are the good alignment shops around portland?

i bought lifetime alignment from firestone. i think they stopped doing this though. some shops will not align lowered cars because they cannot get it on the lift. firestone on canyon road has wood blocks to help lowered cars get on the alignment rack.

gosh.. its so hard to make decision on my new car.
these are on my list:
1. 07 Infiniti G35S or G35X with Premium and Nav Package
2. 07 Acura TL TypeS
3. 07 Lexus IS250 or IS250AWD
4. 07 Acura TSX with Nav
5. 08 Subaru Legacy GT Limited
TL's interior and features are nice but it drives like a boat and response is too slow compared to TSX. G35 drives like a dream. Good power and handling but interior is typical "Nissan," if feels cheap.. Legacy is all good but cheaper brand image.. Gonna go test drive Lexus next week. So far new TSX is on top of my list. What do u guys prefer? Give me some inputs.

When I bought the TSX it was between the IS250 and TSX, I loved the IS, still do, it's beautiful. But I didn't find anything other than "feeling" in the Lexus that was even close to being worth the extra money. So I went with the TSX, sometimes i wish I went with the IS, but overall I'm happy with the TSX. Just don't get in an IS350 or the case is closed lol, once you go 350 it's hard to go back

All are nice, but with the TL you've got FWD and a FMC comming soon which would scratch it off my list. IS250 (or 350 for that matter) is heavy on luxury and may not be sporty enough to satisfy a car geek. TSX is FWD, no LSD, lower on power, and you've already been there done that. Legacy GT has the turbo/AWD with all the pro's and con's of a car with that setup. (A tuner's or snow-belt residence's dream car, but possibly not yours...)

test drove is250awd today. nice car. very solid and quiet. but way too slow. it feels slower than stock tsx.. also the price is too high for its features.
new G sedan is really nice. but interior feels too cheap. way too cheap.. its typical nissan interior and with only one infiniti dealer in oregon, they won't budge on the price.
anyways my shopping is done. went back to acura dealer today and drove the TypeS again. it felt much better compared to IS. also engine is smoother than VQ35. overall TypeS was very good for its money so i signed a deal today. my euroR is gone now.. will go back to dealer and pick up my old friend to part out everything i can by coming tuesday.
be sure to check black market. i'll be listing tons of parts for sale.
