i've been away from home for close to two weeks. made four round trip to seattle during that time. clocked about 2,200 miles in two weeks. back to normal life now.. whew~

anyways both my springs/sway bar came in last week. will be installing them at speed concept around monday or tuesday next week. bodykits are coming by the 11th (anyone wanna help out?? haha).

so should we push out the meet further away? or have some kind of mini meet and another one following soon?

^^^sweet new toys! I am down for mini meets and what not, but it seems that to get more people we need to push it out. JTso stopped by today and picked up my OEM exhaust so I was talking to him about rallying some of the WA people to make a trip as well later on, i.e. after honda-tech

Hey just so it is clear...The Drags are on friday the 20th, and the Show is on the 21st. I will be attending the show on the 21st.

I just tried entering my car to the show but the site is down to make the 20$ payment.

Hey sT04Louis, so you said you enter if I enter the car show? ACCURATTein's thread is motivating me toward entering the car show. Another thing that hold me back is I have a family member having some major surgery around the same time, so I need to keep my schedule open.... but depending on what date it falls on, I'll try to enter... I'll let you know...

It would be pretty cool to see two TL's among the typical entrants.

Nice to see some natives in the the Northwest. I wouldn't mind rolling to a meet next month if you guys want to do a trip down to the coast or something. A few years back I remember I missed a Cannon Beach Meet. Heard the turnout was very good. 15+ cars from what I remember. For me I just need to know the month before because work schedules are made a month and advance. PM me guys! Let's work something out!

My fiances parents have a 3G TL and are looking to put it in but don't want to pay for install, I said I'd be willing to help out but I searched your forum and seen alot of threads on DICE vs. other links but no DIY's??

So I just heard about this site. If you want more Acura owners to meet they need to know about you all. I work at Ron Tonkin Acura In Beaverton and just heard about this site. I have a 07 TLS. with just a few new mods 20% tint, RonJon wheels, and body kit. I think there is alot more people that would love to meet up but just don't know. I have to work on the weekends but I will try to make a meet. It is great to see acura owners getting together.

Hmm good to know, I use to sell hondas at Kendall in Eugene =P. Was at your dealership not to long ago getting warranty work when I saw Min's old TSX made me sad lol, just the same one of your fellow sales people tried to sell it to me. Selling to sales people is not easy! lol. Good to have you aboard though and being at RT acura you are able to really spread the good word!

I agree with Russel, let's push it out further since we had 6 signed up and now I am out, he's out, and no one else has confirmed a location or a time. Maybe beginning of august, I have a wedding the weekend after this so I am booked then too. Maybe in august at a park somewhere where we can do some grilling and beer drinkin? LOL

I also posted a poll with 7 different locations to vote on and suggestions are welcome. So clear up a time!

oh crap. While I was driving home from work today, I saw a cop parked with a gun-like machine pointing out his window towards the direction that i was coming from. Is that a radar or a radar+camera?! That's pretty scary... I slammed on the brakes as soon as I saw him (Hope it wasn't too late). Someone put me to ease please. I don't want to know I'll be getting a speeding ticket >_> (or would he be chasing after me if he found out I was speeding?_

there is no "gun" that the police can physically point at you as a camera. That was a radar gun you saw and if you were speeding enough he would have came after you. However; the limitation is 5mph over the posted limit and most cops wont bat an eye at 10mph over. Photo radar is always in a van, Beaverton uses an older GMC/Chevy van with "beaverton police" on it and is typically spotted on Canyon Rd going up the sylvan hill and cedar hills rd just past the Walker intersection.

Portland uses a greyish blue Ford van with no markings and can be found all over town, but I have seen it on Capital HWY by PCC sylvania. Beaverton also has photo at intersections which is permenent. Walker and Cedar Hills has it, Beaverton Hillsdale HWY at Fred Meyer has it, and a few others I just can't remember.

DIY!!!! Well I go to xpresso lube on Cornell for my oil changes, they have a good price on a Mobile 1 full synthetic. As far as tire rotation do that yourself, topping off fluids any oil change place will do that included.

thanks for the tip. i actually purchased my TL through you guys, a guy named ken though. hope i didnt go to the wrong salesman tho!

anyway, i just made an appointment and mentioned your name. the service lady said $35 for the oil change and $20 for the tire rotation. but she said i would be getting a "quick lube" oil change for the $35. how is this any different than the other option, which is more expensive??? do i need the other option at ~6000 miles on the new TL? Thankssss guys!
