Arrow Northwest Grill & Cruise Fall 2005

This is it folks!! The last meet of 2005!!

We've decided to gather in Port Orchard for a GRILL-tastic feast of steak BBQ CHKN brauts burgers and RIBS

After we wash our hands we shall roll up Highway 16 to Gig Harbor where we will experience some of the finest roads in Washington State. Along our trip we will take time to snap some pics at various waterfront scenes. Excellent.

Let me temp you with these fantabulous morsels.....

how'd that get there?

I'm looking toward the 12th of November. It's a Saturday. Any other suggestions would be helpful.

I encourage everyone to bring their own recipe of grill fixin's. Everyone shall be entitled to their portion of grill time. However... Mr. 8898 Sr. (Koyi's Pops) will be the grill supervisor. He will direct all incoming and outgoing grill traffic.

November 12th? My birthday is the 11th....Veterans Day baby! Sounds good to me. Can't wait to see all those sweet rides (and a xB) on those Gig Harbor Curves. Will pm the address to those stopping by Club CJams for the BBQ. But for point of reference my place is right between Horse Shoe Lake park and the Port Orchard airport. See ya'lls soon!

There's an airport in the Orchard? Since when? You may as well have used 6 digit military coordinants. Nobody is gonna know what chu talkin' bout.

Come on man! You don't know about the world famous Port Orchard are field? JK! It's actually just an air strip on Sidney rd. It sits right next to Empire Pizza. There isn't a tower or anything there, just a field.

We might be able to get 1 or 2 runs in before someone around notices it. The road I live on works just as well Usually on the weekends the field has little planes flying in and out all the time. About once a week I get to see some dude getting crazy doing flips and spins right over my house. Kinda cool, but kinda scary at the same time.

Thats pirate yo!

haha! I love Steve the pirate! We have a lil saying at work now. After a long discussion about OG's (original gangstas) we all decided that pirates were the first gangstas, so instead of saying, "thats gangsta" we all say "thats pirate yo!"

Yeah he's retired airforce, tech srgt. was his rank I think. I'll let my bro know about the meet. See if he can bring the Supra out to play. That'll be cool if the guys from BC make it down. Anybody going to see Doom tomarrow night? Maybe some of us could meet up grab a bite and check out the movie.

Thanks for your email buddy. Sorry I won't be able to make it that weekend as I have to put in some hours at work. However, I will pass on the msg to some of the other members here in Vancouver. Looks like a lot of fun and bbq is my favorite. So hope you guys have a great time and take some pics.

HOpe to get some of our members here in Vancouver to come down for a meet maybe spring or summer in 2006.

BTW- We can share the address through PM. I don't want to post my home address on the web so lets get a list together and we can pm the address to those that will be attending.

This is the adress to pizza joint next to the world famous Port Orchard air field right down the street to my house. 12292 Sidney Rd Sw Port Orchard, WA 98367-7059 Use it as a point of ref for your "mapquesting."

Only 2 weeks to go!

Hell yeah you're welcome. Good to hear from you. What happened to the TSX? It's the only red TSX around these parts.

I'm not sure on what I'm doing just yet....

I want to get my CCIE certification and that's going to cost quite a bit for training and testing, not to mention it's going to take about 12-18 months. I'm thinking I might sell the car to fund the training and testing costs. If I can get my CCIE by next year, I'm pretty much assured of a 6 figure salary at another company and can afford the car I really want.

If I do sell it, I'll part out the rims (locally only), coilovers and FSTB, then sell the car and pick up a beater DD. This won't happen until next month sometime though, so I can at least test out the new camera I just got.

Funny you say that - I saw a blond woman driving a red TSX on my way to work yesterday. I thought for a moment it might have been my old one.

After going to the track a couple times, I decided I didn't need the TSX's luxury and wanted something lighter and more neutral handling for HPDE. The dealer made me an offer I couldn't refuse on the TSX, and I picked up a really clean BMW E30 that I found in California.

Can you'll PM me with the address and time?

I think we're skerrrd to set a time!

Keep me in mind for the FSTB What about the RSB? I'll trade you for my stocky I guess this means you don't need that side skirt touched up then. We can cover it up real quick if you stop by for the meet.

The early DIY session can start as early as 9 am. I will also be breaking out the pressure washer and the buffers for those that want to clean up their rides before the photoshoot!

I'll keep you in mind for those items. How much are you willing to help me with the work?

I have kids soccer at 2:20 and a dinner banquet at night so it might be a quick jaunt over then backs ometime in the morning. Touching up the skirt would be cool though.

Honestly though, not a whole lot quicker than my S/C'd CLS was...and it's harder to drive since you don't just punch it and go. Just wait 'till I get a blower for the V though...then watch out 911's!!
