great meet guys... my bro took some pics but his cannon rebel isnt digital so i gotta wait on those to get developed...
i had a fun drive back on the pike with my boys with the GTO's, EVO, and SRT4... man i def need some more muscle... the combination of throaty exhausts, blowoff valves, and burnt rubber are so nice...

Great meet everyone. Considering the weather I didn't expect NEARLY as many people as how many showed. And such a wide variety of cars too - we had some genuine exotics this time around. Imagine if it had been sunny today - turnout would've been off the chain!
Does anybody think next time it might be cool to let some local shops know about the meet so they could possibly bring their flagship project cars or something? This isn't my idea, I heard it somewhere else. Something about the sheer size and scope of what we've been able to organize with just a cooperation between some message boards is impressive, and makes me think there's potential for more, just so long as it stays fun and casual.
Edit: and Wil's inebriated rant from last night is mega-LOL.

To all who went..thanks for a great time...was nice to put some names with screen names and rides.
Was a nice turn out for the weather....at least the only idiot who was there the whole day was the moron on the bike
If all goes well should have a few new mods by the next one....got some nice ideas....after looking at some Evos..man I WISH I had a turbo!!!!
Can't wait for some photo links...my friend he was in the Silver 06 w/ the DVD set-up...took some as well. As soon as he gets them to me I'll post em.

The only think that scares me about 'em is that the front end is a clamshell design, so if you mess up the front, you can't just change the bumper cover gotta change the whole front shell (@ a cost of $9K)...

Hey...It was great meeting everyone. Great turnout. I'm glad the rain held off. I was still freezing my ass off a little though. We should plan another on of these this summer! Too bad it wasn't warm enough to grill. I would have stayed a little longer, but I was starving! Plus, I wanted to get to the VW/Audi meet in Seekonk. Thanks for posting all those pics up right away Green Monster...

I originally wasn't going to go, but it stopped raining when I got back toward RI. It was a nice show. They had tons of cars and some dealerships helped sponsor the event. They gave out awards to the best ___. Good time, but it was windy as hell on the track area. It made the cold even colder! Brrrrrrr...
i actually left and went to the vw/audi meet as well. mark, you probly saw my car their as i saw yours. it was a hot meet. awesome cars and i love vw/audi style.

I was there. I had a CGP TSX over by the highway side next to a lexus 300IS. I took some pics; maybe even of your ride without knowing it. I'll post them in your picture thread as soon as they're done converting. Autogirl even got a small glimps of me in one of her pics without knowing who I was. I wish I knew who more of the AZ crew was. I talked with the two guys from CT, one of which was malingator and I don't remember the other screen name but he was showing me the taillight camera and DVD converter for the NAV.
Anyway, I had a good time, but was hoping to put some more faces to names. Maybe next time.

Hope there is another meet sometime soon! Sorry Justin (vtlec01), but it would have been a slap in the face to my bro after he spent all night Friday and Saturday afternoon buffing my car.
