Massachusetts Spring 2006 Meet - Cochituate State Park- Sunday April 23rd

*** IMPORTANT LOCATION UPDATE ***
New Location: Cochituate State Park in Framingham, MA (Replacement for Hopkinton State Park and the next town over from Hopkinton (Framingham), so it shouldn't be a big deal)
Date: Sunday, April 23rd
Time: 11-4pm (But some of us will be there by 10am to get prime parking)
Info: Still BBQ, still great people, and still great cars (over 180 have signed up and not including the friends they are bringing along)
Directions: Cochituate State Park is located in the greater Boston area in eastern Massachusetts.
From East or West: Massachusetts Turnpike (Rte. I-90) to exit 13, Rte. 30 east. Park is on the right.
From Mass Pike: Take the Mass Turnpike (Rt. I-90) to Exit 13 to Rt. 30 East. The park is ½ mile down on the on the right.
From Route 9: Follow Route 9 East or West to the Speen Street exit in Framingham. Go North on Speen Street. Follow Speen Street for 1 mile until you come to Route 30. Turn right onto Route 30. Park is 200 yards down on the right hand side.
*** NOTE: Please be respectful of the area and DO NOT draw unnecessary attention to yourself by doing burnouts, revving the engine, etcc...We do not want to ruin it for everyone and get kicked out because one lousy idiot decided to "show off". You know I'm game.
I'm thinking Sunday is the best day usually for people. The only weekend I can't do it is on April 8-9 (MSF course). And April 16th is Easter, so I'm assuming no one would want it on that day either. So we're pretty much stuck with Sunday April 2nd, 23rd or 30th.

Haha... Hamel and his boys missed the HSP one in september, but they usually show up... I'll have to PM him...
I'll probably put something in my sigline (w/ a link to this thread, link to the photo thread, and link to the article Means wrote ) when we finalize the date...

That meet was by far the best we've ever had though the Fudruckers meet had more Acuras.
I look forward to this meet, but we'll see how many people will be interested.

I remember last year we talked about trying to find some sort of sponsor or something, a raffle for parts, some stuff like that, think we can pull it through this time around?

And I don't think we're going to get too much more feedback from people. Looks like the Mass. crowd are in hibernation right now since barely anyone responds these days.

my goal is to have the OEM kit on by the meet!! Or at least the front lip haha..depends on my money situations...being in college hurts, but its my last semester=)

How much are you getting it for? I know a place that usually has a group buy for $820 shipped, but that's for a TSX.

hmm I'm not sure how much it'll be yet, but I know there was a group buy just recently for $757 shipped from Ray's Acura in New York. I'm gonna see if he can give me a good price when I purchase it in the coming months. I would have definitely gotten in on the group buy a couple weeks ago, but i spent $600 on winter tires.
