damnit i tried makin it down there today but i got caught up with sumthing else... how did it go?

Yep, I got there a little after 2PM, there was only 6-7 cars at the beginning but by 3:30 there was around 20 cars. I dipped out pretty early though, then I guess some more people showed up, a total of about 30 cars were there by the early evening hours.

I heard the cops rolled through and started running peoples plates but obviously as long as your registration and everything was legit you would have nothing to worry about.

Damn... sorry man. The Honda-Tech guys are always running late, I plan on arriving at the next H-T meet a good 3 hours after the posted start time.

The guy that posted the thread to start the meet didnt even show up

I figured they would all be late, there were alot of cars parked in the lot yesterday, just no Hondas/Acuras. Not a big deal only 30 minute drive for me.

following up, i asked my dad, but he was still saying that if he isn't busy, then we can go.
about my grades... i did a "rough calculation" and my GPA is somewhere near 3.9 so i don't think that's a problem.
and my dad's way of saying that the car is almost basically mine, he put his BMW on his parking permit for the train station, and he'll be using the BMW to go to the train station more often

Do people with stock cars come to these things? If things go well, I should have an 08 TL or 09 TSX by the end of the month, before the holiday weekend...obviously, it will be all stock.

Hey people...

I was in Europe for a while so I didn't keep up with the post. To the guy that asked about stock cars...I have a stock TL that I went to a meet last time and no one said anything. Obviously it wasn't a center of attention, Sox-fan's TL/Inspire and many others were much more appealing to look at. Mine you can see anywhere on 94 every morning being driven by paper-pushers and such. I drive mine much more aggressive then that, but its still stock and that might not change for another few months being that I just don't have time for it with the new job I have. So you got nothing to worry about. Like Seth said, its about hanging out and enjoying your time, and then comes everything else.

And about grilling, just today I was in wal mart super-center near me, and I noticed they sell small charcoal grills for $25. Perfect for what we need. Boxed up, ready to go. I can pick that up on my side and you guys can figure out the rest..meat, drinks, etc. Just let me know.
