Is that a TL's shift knob? Nice...
Too lazy to strip out my interior, its a PITA to put it all back together but you find so much change, dirt and other assorted crap under there so you can always make it up by having fun vacuuming those years of crap

note, since the picture was taken i've relocated the lap belts, as they weren't working good there. they are now mounted where the seat belt (oem) used to mount to and the old seat belt buckle.
The center part is mounted to the frame of the seat still.
The shoulder's are mounted a support beam in the back

I used zip ties to keep the belts from sliding off the seat

you can see here

the belts mount pretty much even with my shoulders, more or less.
I also picked up a Pyrotect helmet, unbelievable how much lighter and comfortable is it over my HJC bike helmet
You guys bet yea that camera mount is gonna be used soon! I'm planning on going to me first autox event for 08, its gonna be at the tirerack test track. so video's will follow!!
to hold you over, here's one of my fav's from last year....

Participated in The 2008 Windy City Miata Club AutoX season opening event, Held at The Tire Rack test track, in south bend indiana This past sunday.
Great Event, the track was setup awesome, I had alot of fun.
The good old ack was great out there, engine performed top notch, suspension was right on the ball. The new tires took a little longer to get warm and sticky over my old Toyo's but the bonus width of the 235 was really wonderful, plus the fact that its a 40-series. hehe. Stromung sounds sick for those who don't already know
My most favorite thing still remain the racing harness i put it. It was really a different feel from b4. Now, i don't have to worry or think about hold on during hard corning, it just keeps you in place. I really felt a difference from the past.
Sorry i was only able to get one video uploaded so far, it happens to be my best run 54.330 I'd put myself at average from what else i saw, however there were faster. THey shuold have all the times posted in the next few days, i'll add them to this thread, along with the rest of the runs i'm still uploading.

Here's a few more video's. these first few are "fun runs", i decided to NOT follow the cones at the slaloms and just see how i can do on the banks.
this first video, (or it was the last at this point, at the end b4 the camera ran out of space, was me e-braking thru the turn b/c i was going too fast to make, so i e-ed it

also i tried closing the windows to see if u can hear the stromung/motor better, althou now looking at the other video's it was okay with them open

also, my gas gauge stayed pretty much on E the whole time but i only had a few gallons of gas, in fact i stopped my fun runs only b/c it cut out on me during a few turns, so i knew its time for gassing her up! which to my surprise the gas there locally was very cheap .25 less then near my house but it was 92 compared to 94 at my house but still!

So how the hell did you rig an NSX steering wheel to your steering column? They don't share the same airbag IIRC.... has the airbag ever even been hooked up and functional with that wheel in your car? just curious cause I was thinking about doing something similar
