Im in! I wouldnt worry about headcount for euroteknik, we arent picky if we all sit near each other or not.

yep many hotels. I can get deals at winngate Inn if needed.


Also this meet should be good, in the past 3 years, the first meet in spring is always the largest turnouts. Everyone gets out their cars from winter mode and ready to show them off. I say make the trip!

 

although, not to burst anyones bubble, but the last few from last year were kind of lame from what i heard. Meaning alot of people comitted, but didnt show up. i would hate for him to come from KC, only to find out 10 cars showed up.

well, when u start inviting more groups and more and more cars, odds of getting over crowded and police involved go up. you will technically abuse your spot, thus ruining the place for future groups to use it. i am sure all the people who came out to the meet from out of state will really love that. just a thought.

smaller is better in this case and no nissan forums please, a lot of them are very immarture, if we must keep it to people you know and that will bring interesting cars to look at and spread the word to keep it kinda DL...

 

When u start inviting friend of a friend and etc, it can get out of hand. then there will be other groups of people there that u dont even know. And usually they stay off on there own. kind of deters the point of a meet. and i think the last thing people want is a busted meet. Its gotta start off at a basic point to get acurazine to a nice following. maybe invite a few friends with other cars, nothing major. then when the group becomes more tighter and things run smooth and stable, you can maybe try inviting one other group next time, and see how things run with them. its all about the basics. At least now that acurazine is all combined, its makes all the groups come together.

I'm not going to call out any particular group, but lets be smart with who we invite. There are some clubs with immature fcks that fck it all up. Groups with good admins/members that lay down the law and rules should only be invited. ChicagoZ.com has been using this location for some time, I would hate to be permanently kicked out and then trying to find a new spot. This one asshole single handedly ended Subaru’s weekly Thursday meet in Schaumburg. And that shit was going on for YEARS. Please PM me with who we're inviting. So far we have:

WERD! i say just keep it within those groups, since u guys know the people in them. whenever i ran meets, i would usually be the first one up there, to get things situated. Then each car that pulled up, whether i knew them or didnt, i'd say wassup to them. so that way they dont feel left out, and you know who they are since u are the one organizing it.

 

Ya know what i was thinking. Maybe acurazine.com can have their meet at 1pm all to themselves. Im sure Synth19 and I can bring our groups later on like around 2:30. That way acurazine has plenty of time to hang out alone.

 

that only works if people show up at 1pm. some people got work til a certain time or just show up later on. so, they may work if there is a big enough gap. acurazine lunch time, and the rest can come around 3ish. cool idea crazy sellout.

You gotta drive a bit to get some food. Shouldnt be too bad since its colder weather, more empty than the summer. I havent been there in awhile, but some of those forest preserve police can be pretty harsh. Been kicked out there a few times. Usually Busse Woods is pretty decent if people dont act like asses.
