Are there any N. VA owners around???

 

I am here. I don't have a CL-S, just a stock CL that needs some work, but nonetheless I am here!!!

From DC to LA to San Fran and all points in between on the ride back home.

 

Not to many CLS out here in MD & DC... That's ok tho, I hate seeing the same cars all the time ! I'm in MD and drive to DC every morning. Look out for me...I am the guy in the black CLS who races everyone that looks at me funny !

 

Thoro any other mods you got? sound system? How bout you juice? Just like to get an idea of what they look like and how i can do mine.

I haven't really modded my car yet. I had it for a year now and not 'till visiting this site for the past months have I now looked into looking for mods. I had a truck before and my sound system carried two 12" Rockfords HE2s 800 and two pioneer amps (one for the doors and one for the box). I haven't installed them.. the idiots at the cars audio place around here said they haven't worked on CLS and asking for like 350 for install.

My car is pretty much stock....except for the aem I ordered from trick trucks. Until I hear 4 sure that the headers + pulleys + whatever else will not trash the tranny...I won't be doing major upgrades until future.

 

Late response; but I'm from Gaithersburg, MD. Are there any meets scheduled in our area (VA-DC-MD)?

I live in Chantilly and work in Rockville, MD. I have a 99 3.0 White CL. I just bought it in September and comtech headers are ordered so far. Let me know if there is a club in the area, I plan to somewhat hook my CL up and show it next year.

I live in ashburn. lets have another meet, because the Go-Kart meet sucked. Only a couple people showed up, eventhough like 20 people said they were gonna come.

 

acura girl, do you have dark tint? I think I saw you on route 50 the other day, just after the route 28 bypass.

 

Hey WhiteWu, that was probably me that you saw on 50. That's the way I go home everyday and yeah I have tint. I didn't see you though, I'll keep my eyes open.

 

I drive to dc every morning and i still don't see any Cl-S. Seems like I am the only one :P Tho, I do see a lot of 1st gens on the road.

 

Actually we have a boat load of members. our meet at burke lake had 30+ members

I see a shit load of CL-S' running thru DC and a bunch of TL's to boot, most are drivin by older males and the occasional female with a baby seat in the back ( Ewwwww! ). Hell, there are 3 CL's in my apartment building alone! We have the numbers, it's just not a lot of us want to take the time to appreciate our vehicles, either that or they just have another car in the gararge. Well, I made up my mind to hype up my CL then wait for 2 years and upgrade to a Type-S once they finally get a 6-speed tranny and work the kinks out.

Meanwhile, I'll joyride in my Probe GT until "Babydoll" gets all dressed up over the winter.

Yo dajuice - Soon as i open my big mouth.......this morning on the way in, I see two cls and one clp. There was a chick with car seat in one cls and a older kat in another. I saw this young guy around my age in a clp. Still, let me rephrase what I said earlier, "I don't see any young people in the CLS, I only see older men and women like 40-69." Around my way in MD there are three black Cls (including mine) but they all bought theirs after seeing mine (dic-riders) Again, they all look older than me....

 

Hey if you guys see a lowered white cl-s w/ tints and no turned off road lamps its me!

I usually highbeam or wave when I see a cl / cl-s. so dont' think Im some crzy freak

 

Hehe...I must be the only one who actually lives in DC. I also work in the city (at least until the end of the month) so I usually take the bus. I've got a Satin Silver CL-P with Pennsylvania tags, completely stock.

Now maybe one of you can answer a question for me. Every morning as I'm going down 16th Street NW I see a black CL-S parked between R and T Streets. Is it any of you?

I drive down B/W to New York Avenue....I park every morning at the 5th street lot....($5.00 all day..BECAUSE I AM CHEAP!).

I've seen that black one. Not there all the time though, maybe the owner is just visiting. As a matter of fact, I'm gonna look for it when I drive home tonight up 16th street.

Dred, you ain't cheap, I park in that same lot when I work at MCI Center for games - besides, they never lock your car in overnight so the crackheads can just jack your shit!

 

Well honk if you ever see me...I live on 16th Street so I drive it all the time. You can't miss it--PA tags and a young woman behind the wheel.

Today in my $5.00 lot, I saw a all White CL-S with tints parked near the front entrance. Introduce yourself or sign on to the board!

I also saw a Sundance Gold CL-S going down 16th street as I was driving up towards Silver Spring! YOU know who you are, join the board....I was the guy in the black CL-S with tints and the new Agriculture MD plates with my lights on...I SAW you staring at my CLS!

Going towards wheaton I saw alot of CL-S....We could probally have a very nice size meet like the San Fransico group if we join heads. My .02!

 

There is a meeting in Chantilly Virginia for Friday night, around 10pm, so people who work can get there.

I live up in Germantown MD and have a pretty much stock light blue 3.0 cl.... Just got it so i haven't had the chance to mod it out yet.....But I'm still down for goin to meets to chill with some other CL peepz.
I'm pretty sure ive seen a few of y'all out there. Dustbuster for sure on 270, you blew my doors off when i was chillin around 80.

I'm in Bethesda, MD and always around that area, Potomac, Rockville, and G' Burg. I was at Rio Mall yesterday and saw two CL-S's parked next to each other. There are boatloads of TLs though in Bethesda

 

Yup, u cant miss me, I'm only 1 of 3 aegean cl-s in the area from this board.

 

I can always be seen chasing someone down on 95 from Baltimore to Columbia, MD. Morning and evening.

 

I'm the red cls you may see with stock rims 1 week and focal f10 the other running thru Silver Spring, Rockville, Gaithersburg and Woodbridge on weekends

 

Where are you in MC, Aegean? There is a ABP in my neighborhood.

I live in VA... not northern But I'll go up there anyway. I work in dc at the Navy Yard, and at Rockville, but guess what.. I just got my fucking pink slip..... What a bitch.. didnt' see that coming...

 

It's about time for another meet. Lets make this one the First annual "Acura CL DC Area Fall Brawl". $10 entrance fee and we split the loot amongst ourselves. We get like 3 categories and we vote on the winner, and they split the pot.

If we could race them, then we'd have one for the fastest as well, but lets keep it clean. Maybe next year we can find some small sponsors or hook up with other people to actually make some money from this thing.

 

yes... there are lots of CL-s in Northern VA. I went to Rossyln last night and saw a white, black, and another silver one. They are all over, but now the TLs outnumber us.

(BTW the white one was NOVAWhite's)
