Quakecon registration for the B.Y.O.C. starts tonight at 8:00 central time. The spots go quick so if you want to bring your pc to Quakecon you better start hitting refresh at 8:00 on the Qcon site. It would be best to go ahead and set up an account and fill out all the pre-registration stuff you can now before the mad dash tonight.

I'll be there at least for the 10th. Arranging it with movie night is going to be a little tricky, though, especially if we want to all go somewhere to eat beforehand. Looks like the Cinemark 17 IMAX 705pm or 940pm showing of 300 are going to be our best bets...

Does anyone have a link to some kind of schedule that the NOPI event will follow? Trying to navigate their site for info is like pulling teeth. That would help us figure out what our specs need to be.

This is probably a good time to mention this little shop in Arlington called Accurate Car Care. They "specialize" in Acuras, and they're really nice guys. One of the guys has 4 or 5 integras that he races in his spare time, and the other owns an NSX. So if you need help with something for a reasonable price, and wanna do some networking with a badass car shop in DFW, that's the place. 817-640-4306

I need tires right now, and will likely need shocks and brakes sometime in the future, so I'm not sure when I would be able to do pullies or headers . . .

It was actually a lot fun. We did the entire tour thing-saw a class, went to see the athletic facilities, etc. The coolest thing was that we ran into an old classmate of my sister's who kinda had a crush on me in HS. We had dinner, and one thing led to another
