I use Zaino as well...been using it since I got the car. Actually, it's time for me to do another detailing as soon as the weather gets better. It's the best stuff ever. Water just rolls off and the car stays cleaner for a longer period of time.

Zaino is good stuff-can't not knock it. However, I don't have that much time to follow all of the steps rquired for Zaino.
I use Tropi-Care products. Made locally in Dallas by a fellow Viper owner, they are great products that are easy to use and protect very well. Check them out www.tropi-care.com

I got the Kinetic Blue over Taupe. The Taupe looks more like a whitesh-gray, and I absolutley love it. The new gauges are really growing on me, and I am just waiting to here from E on what to get to do a full red LED conversion. I installed the AEM CAI from previous TL into it.
This is the only pic I have so far, will have to get more later.

Mark,
Thanks for informing on the availability of the new Zaino Z-CS (Clear Seal). I haven't been back to their site since last year when I bought the entire Zaino ultimate detail package for $116.
I just ordered the Z-CS, tire shine, Zaino maintenance pack (2 bottles of z-6 detail spray, 4 bottles of car wash), leather cleaner, and leather conditioner). I use 303 Aerospace protectant on the dash and all interior vinyl.
I always dread having to apply multiple coats of Zaino z-2 pro and buff in between, takes me about an entire day to fully detail the car. But, hopefully with the new Z-CS, there is no buffing and it has a greater longevity than the Z-2 polish, so it'll only take a few minutes to apply. Actually, this way, I'll actually apply it once a month (instead of every 3-6 months with the Z-2, since it's so much less work) and apply Z-6 detail spray after each wash.
Hopefully comes by this weekend or so.

Quick question for whoever wants to answer and offer some insight...
When you lower your car, negative camber occurs. Is it one inch of negative camber per every inch dropped? is this anywhere near right? I think I remember seeing this somewhere on AZ. So if that is right, then with a 1.7 inch drop, I shold get around that much of negative camber? thanks guys!

Not right, camber is measured in degrees. I have camber kits front and rear, i was at -3 degrees in the rear and i'm dropped 2.5 inches, now with the camber kit i'm at about -.5 or so. Almost the same in the front.
With a 1.7 inch drop you probably won't have much negative camber, give it a month to settle and then get an allignment and all should be well.

treez when you lower your car you will get negative camber. That is a given.
Now in most cases negative camber really isnt a bad thing. It really depends how negative it is..
Our cars already come stock with negative camber and you cant adjust it unless you get a camber kit. But negative camber helps in turns. The downside is that with excessive negative camber you will begin to wear the inside of your tires. This can be combatted by rotating your tires more frequently. I ended up biting the bullet and getting a camber kit for the rear. I dont think you will need one for the front...
What you need to do is once you lower it take it to the dealer and have them put it on the hunter machine. See what your numbers are and go from there...

Looking good man.
Ok we got a few things in the works on the club site that need attention.
First is this coffee shop meet. We need more of you to post in that thread so we can get a date time and activity hammered out.
Come on slacker lets get this done.
Second I want you all to be at Speed Zone in Dallas on the 12th of May at 1:00 for my half ass B-day party. I want to get drunk and go race some go-carts!
So go whore the club forums a bit, they miss you!

sorry fade i would have come out to bone daddy's today but i was at work until 7. what about tomorrow though? anything going on for sure?
btw fade...i was messing with one of my wheel caps from the rims i had bent and gotten replaced and popped out the shiny tsw middle part. turns out its like a thick metallic sticker thats got a diameter of 6cm. anybody got any ideas of where i could either find an Acura wheel cap 6cm in diameter or some sort of round sticker with the same size?

Sup guys, I live in Houston for college, but should be heading back to Arlington for a month around May 10th. Any good Acura meets that week?
BTW. I was just wondering if there are any TSX members that have the Greddy SP2 exhaust....I've been wanting to hear it in person.

That I know of, there are no members with a TSX that have the Greddy SP2 exhaust. Me and Vthree have our resonators removed and it sounds really good. 98civex I dont think has aftermarket exhaust and neither does N1ke5h that I know of. Sorry man. But here are some videos of TSX's witht the Greddy SP2 exhaust from youtube. They arent great quality videos, but hey, its better than nothing! http://youtube.com/watch?v=dBGFJKFhQ...elated&search=

Check out acraclubdfw.com for our local meets on the calendar.
Fade is having a racing get together at speedzone on May 12 and
I am having a grillout/meet at my place on May 13.
As for the TSX, there are a lot of members with TSXs, as it used to be mostly TL/CL. Come on out to one or both of the meets, and check out the calendar, gallery and forum on the ACDFW site.
