I'm not sure how that's going to fly. Other people can comment. But since AZ people paid for the park and bringing food, maybe it should just be specific to AZ. What you guys think?

Good point, but if we do decide to get messy and include those guys, how would we control it? Not to mention some may not follow the rules we lay down because they don't get the info.

I'd love to invite my other guys from another club as well, but yeah let's get a consensus and a solution before we decide to do it. If they chip in 5 per person I think that should be fine... dump money into the paypal probably would be the smartest idea. We might even have enough to cover market runs if that happens.

I am opposed to other car club groups coming. This is an AcuraZine event. The other clubs can have their own BBQ events.

Not only that, but the park we reserved allows 70 people, and we are already pushing that limit with people bringing guests. If there are more than 70, we have to pay for a special permit which costs more $$$. And the parking around the park only allows so many cars.

And, the permit is in my name and I have overall control and responsibility of the park on that day. I do not wish other random clubs of people I do not know coming at this time. Maybe some other time there can be a different event with multi clubs at a park that holds more people.

Enough said then. Your credibility is on the line.

Let's keep it simple and safe then and we won't have to worry.

On the next list update, make sure you fix the donation amount

https://acurazine.com/forums/showpos...&postcount=301

I've been trying to get ahold of the park reservation people to find out if there might be additional costs along with the price of the special event permit, but I keep getting their machine.

oh, and if we do get the Special Event permit, it allows keg beer

I agree!

On other note: have you find out how much extra for the special permit? Maybe we should get it if not that much extra and more people donate in. LITTLE alcohol at the park is way good!

Yeah, i FINALLY got ahold of them (they turned the answering maching off!)

so the normal permit is $82 for 70 people.
special event permit is an additional $60 and allows 40 extra people, amplified music, keg beer, a petting zoo, and a blowup thing (and i know everybody wants the blowup thing and the petting zoo). You cannot have normal alcohol cans/glasses, only a keg. Plus, I'm also opposed to that since I think there are people under 21 coming, and I'm not going to go through with distributing alcohol to minors, so we will not be having alcohol of any kind People can get their drink on at the beach or at the after parties that night.

We'll probably have 70~ people when we get closer to our date, but then we gotta keep in mind that there will be a handful of people that will no-show since that happens for every meet.

Yeah... you need to put the[*] inside of the list you want between the (list=1) and (/list) [put the parenthesis to not F* up the text]. Don't ask me, I program and I think this code coulda been done much better.

Updated the shiznit for the donations.

That's true, they won't know, but we will...personal credibility/accountability is important : Want to be clean/solid about how we represent AZ

It's only been 2 years since I've been gone. I used to be able to edit my first thread in the sales section... but now I can't even do that... huge clutter now.

so, wait... I'm a little confuse... when you say we have a balance of $100.27, that's what we need MORE or that's extra money donated over the required initial amount?

we have a total balance of $100.27, the $82 is already covered, the extra money can either be given back or used for emergency food, etc

not sure why you would need $100.27 MORE if the permit is $82

w3rd. I didn't add caligirl's amount to the balance since having TypeSDragoon take care of that being the account holder. Just put her name in the list.

I think you guys missed my post in the previous pages when we reached our goal already

                  https://acurazine.com/forums/showpos...&postcount=268

in that post I left it as:
                  Balance
                  $76.60 USD
+$19.12 is pending and won't clear till the 23rd.

the balance is below the goal with a pending item, mainly because I wasn't sure if the pending item would clear, and if it didn't clear then we'd be under our goal. it did clear and our goal was reached and a little extra went into the account.

I'm not sure why people sent in more money when the goal amount was already reached.

But as I stated several times already, we might have to pay additonal $$$, which is $60 for the special event permit if we exceed the 70 person capacity.

I stopped posting the paypal info when we reached our goal, and I cannot edit previous posts to removed such paypal info so people could stop sending in money.

it's only $18 extra anyway, which can be used to buy whatever else we might need that is not already being brought.
