pick up whatevers cheap 
. I think they range from 1mile - 10 miles
I picked up a pair of reburb'd cobra w.t's off ebay for like 25 bucks. 6 miles radius since i plan on using it in the mountains during the snowboard season
1 mile should work, if it doesn't just drive faster

It's only 1 mile if you are on very flat surface with absolutely nothing in the way and you have the radio horizontally polarized 
you will hear nothing but static in the car when you are in a caravan. 1 mile just doesn't have enough power.
get something that has at least a 12 mile range.

I am most interested in seeing cars with after market sound systems from mild to wild...
I'd be willing to organize a car audio friendly competition, anyone interested?

wanna help me tune mine ?
i cant wait for this meet either, been busting my butt getting all my interior trim pieces painted, wetsanded, buffed... doing the same to my engine covers, and still gotta finish up the final piece of my sound system (the beauty board) and i should be ready to roll oh and i gotta finish painting my type-r grill and getting the matte black vinyl applied to the chrome trim.

you can see a nice spot just on the lower left under the lake where you can all park next to each other pretty well.

^^ I had to... 6 month cycle. Went to a touchless with the harshest chemicals known to man (exaggeration) to strip off old wax layers and then started from scratch. The black beauty is a harsh mistress...
