Water leak repair

Does anyone know where connector 208 is (driver footwell)? I've been having problems with the accent lights. This latest dealer trip resulted in the attached. I was able to look up the part number, but cannot tell what or where it would be. Is this something I can monitor to see if it is dry? I'm unsure where the water would be coming from. Was told condensation at the dealer but the printout says leak.

This is the only part # I see, though it does not make sense in relation to the 'driver footwell'?

It 83445-TGV-A03ZE looks to be part of the right side cluster / dash #6 below?

Not a place where I would expect water to show up.

Maybe the tech broke that part during their troubleshooting and had to replace it

I love this car but one thing I notice, maybe it's just me, is that the space between, for example, the hood and the body seems a bit much. I wish it was tighter. There are other places where I notice this, like the windshield and the space between that and the body. Once you see it, you can't unsee it. That makes me wonder where the water can get to. In any event, the dealer is confident they fixed it. All I can do is wait.

Yes inconsistent panel gaps has been noted by many on pretty much every model.

I can't find anything inconsistent on mine. I think the quality of what they put on in great. I just think they design is more open in that way for some reason - that I don't necessarily understand. Is there an engineering reason because it solves some technical problem or is easier to build?
