So.... Today, I started up Android Auto, usual route home and was listening to the radio. For some reason, I could not turn up or down the volume. The level indicator would change when I adjusted via the steering wheel or the control knob but the output volume did not change at all. It was very frustrating as I was driving on the highway and could not pull over to turn off and back on the car. (only thing I could think of to reset the infotainment system) Anyway, at some point, I disconnected my phone (stopping Android Auto) and then started the native navigation app and, for some strange reason, the volume adjusted and started to respond to the controls.

Very strange.

Anyone else have a similar experience where the volume stops working?

It hasn't happened to me but I use CarPlay. At that point, I would have tried the volume buttons on the phone to see if they were in control since the Acura system clearly was not.
