for the love of god I can’t get acuralink linked with my iPhone, no matter what I try I get to this step and it tells me it can’t connect to vehicle. I have a case open with acuralink customer service but those mfs are useless. Anyone have any ideas?
In my experience, pressing the blue button on the car links you to the most knowledgeable acuralink people.
If they opened your case then that is probably the best chance of gettings fixed, usually 1-2 business days. If someone else opened it, press the blue button and make sure that team sees your case in progress.
I had this same problem. You have to go to the Acura Link web site and actually sign up and add your car to your "garage" on the web site. then go back to the Acura Link App and it will work correctly.
I did all that on the website long time ago but it didn’t help :-(
Same thing happened to me not getting it to show the mileage and fuel life. To fix it I logged in to the app with my login on my girlfriend's phone. All of a sudden it worked on her phone. Then the next time I logged in on my phone it was working. I can now remote start and view the car on the app just fine.
Update: wife’s phone didn’t work either. I got an update from acuralink: apparently they have issues with some of 2023 TLX models, mine is one of the affected ones - something about showing wrong VIN on file than the actual VIN number - sounds like an easy fix right? Just replace the wrong number with correct and push the update into their system. Wrong! They told me it can take weeks for them to fix it lol.
Update: after two and a half months of car ownership, 30+ phone calls my acuralink finally works….
Did they say what they did? I have a case pending for a verification loop.
Each time I start the app, I sign in and I have to add the vehicle--half the time it has been because they ask me to Uninstall the app yet again. Anyway, I scan the VIN with variable accuracy and eventually it asks me to enter a PIN, and it likes the value. I click the checkmark to proceed and... nothing but a spinning circle.
I am waiting for word that their software team has fixed whatever the underlying issue is.
