They claim, that with the IOS 15.1, update; (soon), my troubles should be over
They're working with Apple to alleviate the problems

Hooray: 90+% of my Apple CarPlay problems are fixed with IOS 15.0.2
Only thing missing is Waze Microphone Navigation
Maybe next IOS update

 

I’ve installed the Beta 18.2 and having the same issue. It’s saying I’m on a jailbroken device. I’ve emailed Acura help desk a few days ago and waiting to hear back.

 

That’s to be expected when using beta software that hasn’t been officially released.

 

True but appreciate the heads up everyone. This might make me hold off on 18.2 release until I hear how it's going. First or second week of December.

I'm on 18.1 and things are actually better from a performance perspective. (23 Type S plugged in). I don't connect via BT and I turned off some xm radio notification crap (I don't even have XM).

Anyone's android auto freaking out recently? Getting this flashing red screen on my phone saying error connecting. It connects to the car (2024 Type S) and then disconnects with an error screen popping up on my phone.

no, apple didn’t ‘listen’, it’s not apples fault Acura put a Chinese $5 garbage charger in the car. You will have issues with iPhone 17 again. iPhone 16e charges only because it DOESNT have MagSafe - did you even do any research before claiming this bs lol

 

NONE of my 5 previous IPhones had Magsafe, either
NONE of them charged wirelessly
New 16e is the best IPhone I've had
Battery life, features, & screen clarity are great
