Gauge Swap Question

Ok...so here is my dilemma:

I have a 23 Type S. And curious about wether the advanced/tech gauge cluster will work with that car? I ask as it's hard to see the RED Numbers on that silver background...especially during the day. I miss my 21 Advanced white/black gauge layout. Had thought about "painting' the gray, but my guess is the way it's built isn't like in the old days of tearing Civic dashes apart and adding electro illuminescent gauges! LOL

Any thoughts on this??

To My Uderstanding, if is possible , you may have to deal with the mileage reprograming, if you get a used one i m not 100% sure if it can be reprogramed to show your actual mileage. Swaping a new unit from the Advance Version should be very straightforward, but then again, it may have to be reprogram by Acura to be in compliance with actual mileage of your vehicle, also adding extra cost. I would not paint nor dissemble these units as they are basically glued and seal tight, you dont wanna ruin it for sure. 👍👍
