Let me start by saying I hate the fact that the wipers cannot be lifted without being put into "maintenance mode". That being said, can any owners get their wipers 1/3 of the up way in maintenance mode? I've tried numerous times (and different ways) and mine will only go all the way up, completely vertical.

 

Since you have to use the maintenance mode, why would you only want it to go up 1/3?

 

I'd rather they were able to go up when all the way down, but I pop them up when washing the car, cleaning the windshield, or applying a glass coating or Rain-X.

 

Not sure about Acura, but most likely the wipers will go back to their home position once the car moves.
