This has been bouncing around a bit. There are a limited number of cars in Canada. Don't know what the deal here in the US is but locally there are 3 cars among 3 stores. Be nice to know how many are actually bought as I don't think that the sales of the Type-S will be listed separately from the TLX.
Congrats on your purchase. May be just the pic but the 3rd gen looks quite a bit smaller than the type S. Almost mistook your 3rd gen for a regular TL since it didn't have the waffle rims but then saw the tailpipes, clear side marker lights, type S tailight lenses (not the solid red), sideskirts and then figured you may have the A-Spec rims on it. 3rd gen they had a lot of subtle differences on the type S.
I pick up mine this Friday. VIN ending in 104. This VIN thing is a great idea. We should start a VIN log and see how many owners we can find. Kinda like our own VinWiki!

Maybe? The car had 21km on it and all of the plastic wrap around the steering wheel, seats, etc. Even had foam pads on the outside. They were telling me they had no demo's and weren't really letting people take them for test drives either.

It's a surprisingly large vehicle. I'm used to thinking of the 1st Gen TLX's. This one, besides the 2G being generally larger, is noticeably longer & larger than the non-Type S due to exterior styling.
It's closer to the 5 series BMW than the 3. And weighs as much!
Correct, these shouldn't touch a port if they are sold in the U.S. Produced in Ohio, right onto train at the rail yard, rail goes to Chicago, and from there they are put on trucks and delivered.
According to my dealer you can’t order the Y spokes with the car and they’re $1,599 to have the all season tires swapped to the Y spokes and then you can keep the factory wheels. See pic below.

I ordered mine months ago with the blue/red combo and performance tires. Still no ETA but the order is in according to my dealership.
I decided to test drive their demo yesterday. So much fun!
My 2019 ASPEC SH-AWD only had 12,600 miles on it currently so I’m trading that in instead of ending my lease early. There is a lot of positive equity on it so a buyout/trade is the best solution.

Yeah, the exterior styling is so similar to my A-Spec that I definitely don't see any tangible size difference. I can't imagine the tiny spoiler in the back or the front treatments give that much illusion of being bigger than the Base/Tech/Advance trims.

Thanks! I was up there about a week ago looking at the TLX and RDX. We have purchased four cars there, two TL’s, a RSX and a RL.
Considering getting rid of the Jeep and going back to an Acura.
