Type-S has never been a full cycle Trim. Would it add value or be foolish to discontinue? What if they allocated to 3.0t to a RDX Type-S? Would they be able to build them fast enough or should the Sedan Type-S be a PMC moving forward 🤔

It's already very expensive for what you get. Personally, I think they might as well just go ahead and add the Hud and Surround Cameras and call it done. I also think they need a least one large (or close to large) sedan.
The Acura sales teams often have yearly meetings that are leaked. That will reveal their plans for the next few years if you really want to know.

The TLX is large, minus the cramped backseat. Given overall performance except 1/4 mile straight line and amenities I don't agree that it's overly expensive. I think a HP jump is needed, but doubt it will be offered.
I don't know much about sales meetings. Is there a zoom link lol.

2. That's what I mean
3. Agreed
4. Wish I could edit. I mis-posted ... meant to just say "expensive" not "very expensive". Note to self "don't post after you've been celebrating for New Years".
PS. I like your car. It's not for me, but it's still sounds nice.

An RDX Type S would sell like hotcakes. It’s already a great car in its class, but it’s absent in the medium-performance segment where most of the Europeans have something. I’d be first in like for one.

2023 TLX-S price is dangerously close to $60k msrp since the cheapest 2023 TLX-S that can be had costs $56,445 before taxes and fees and that’s if you’re cool with having Modern Steel Metallic Gray. Any other color brings the cost to $56,945 so $57k add in taxes and fees and you’re now over $60k out-the-door
So in 2021, it was a great buy at ~$53k, now at $56k-$57k it’s abit steep.
Though I do keep in mind other manufacturers with similar models in the segment are also raising their MSRPs so in the grand scheme of things I could say the TLX-S is still a good buy I suppose.
