Does anyone know what type of bulb is in the trunk? All it says in the owners manual is 5w. Normally you get a number like 168, 194, etc.

I have a 2021 TLX Type S, and the factory incandescent bulb is very dim, provides very little trunk illumination.
I swapped it ( a 30 second procedure) for an LED bulb, and it made a world of difference.
You can buy the bulb via Amazon for about $16 for a 2 pack.

The glove box and sun visor mirrors factory bulbs are also very dim.
If you wish to swap those for LED bulbs (much brighter), let me know, and I will give you the product codes for those LED bulbs.

Thanks for the share ---- Note- I was able to update the trunk and the visor.

Trunk : LASFIT 194 LED Bulb 6000K White, T10 168 2825 W5W LED Replacement Light Bulbs (‎400 Lumen each)

On the visor, I was able to use '6641' and didn't have any issues. Bright (‎300 Lumen each)

Acura takes a step forward in some things and two steps back in others. When the 4G TL was introduced I remembered them touting that the interior lightning was all LED not sure about the trunk light but not sure why a car with luxury itentions would have incandescent lights in 2024 but led tubes albeit front only.
