Thing is they don't sell the 420 here. Its a UK test with a Euro spec engine. Lowest power available is the US is the 430@ 255BHP 4 cylinder
C&D 430 1/4 mile: 13.9 sec @ 99 mph As for cheap gas. In NC who has had cheap gas for the past 4 years even with low virus restrictions its up from $2.316 in February 2021 to $2.583 today. 27 cents in a month & that just regular. Premium is a bit over $3.00.

Congrats and welcome to the Audi family, fellow ex-Honda'er. My last two cars were Accords. I recently picked up a '17 A4 2.0T FWD with the 252hp engine. I freaking love it. Handles superbly, power when I need it, refined ride. Best part was someone else ate the depreciation and I only have 19K miles. I went with an extended warranty just in case since I'm used to cheap Honda fixes (one of the downsides plus premium petro). Test drove current gen Accord and TLX V6 and they felt like boats. I commute a lot so this was perfect. Love my drive to/from work.

The 2018 S5 with 27k miles was 24k under the sticker price of when it was new as optioned out which put it in about the same range as the 2021 TLX. I saw some selling for less than what I paid but they either had more miles, not certified, condition not as nice or less optioned. I wouldn't pay over 68k (and all the extra sales tax) for a new S5 but then again I probably wouldn't have added all the extra option packages that whoever initially leased this S5 splurged on. I do generally buy new though but with the way prices are going it's not that attractive any longer even if I keep the car 5 or 6 years and outside of my 3rd gen Type S which I had for 10 yrs.Then again I generally put less than 10k miles a year on a car.

It has the prestige package and then these additional options: optional 19" wheels with summer tires/S sport package, driver assist package, napa leather, audi rings, carbon atlas inlays and a few other add ons. I have wanted a coupe for a while and had been reading up a bit on the S5. Saw this one come up at a local Audi dealer optioned out so I went out to see it and I knew I was gonna buy it barely after pulling out of the dealer lot on the test drive. I forgot how fun driving a nice performing car can be. I also really like having the shift lever back and all of the extra things that my TLX was missing (although I can't fault the TLX for that as it costs way less new). I may give the type S a look down the road. I don't miss anything about either of the G1 TLX's I owned.
